Dr. Jun Wu’s research focuses on environmental health, including exposure assessment of various environmental agents, health impacts of environmental exposures, and environmental justice/environmental health disparity. Her work combines the use of big data and advanced spatial analysis and statistical methods with experimental/field data collection and community-based participatory research approaches. An emerging area of interest in Dr. Wu’s research program is understanding how social and environmental factors affect mental health outcomes across the lifespan. Her team examines maternal depression and children’s neurological and mental health outcomes including depression.
